This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Scattered thunderstorms are possible tonight, mainly after 10 PM
and to the northwest of the Quad Cities. The Storm Prediction
Center has a Marginal Risk for severe storms along and west of a
line from Manchester, Iowa to Memphis, Missouri. The primary
threat is strong wind gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

Building heat and humidity will lead to peak heat indices in the
mid 90s to around 100 degrees from Sunday through Tuesday.

There are periodic chances for showers and thunderstorms through
the middle of next week. However, prolonged dry periods are
likely and the areal coverage of rain may remain low.
