This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Hot and humid conditions continue today, with heat indices in the
lower to middle 90s across much of the area.

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon through
tonight, especially north of the Highway 30 corridor. The threat
for severe weather remains very low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

Hot and humid conditions will continue Saturday, with heat indices
of 95 to 100 degrees possible.

A cold front will move through the area Saturday afternoon and
evening, leading to increasing chances of strong to severe
thunderstorms. The main threat will be damaging wind gusts, with
large hail and isolated tornadoes as secondary threats. Heavy
downpours are also possible with any thunderstorms that form.

Chances of thunderstorms will be possible for Tuesday and Tuesday
night.

Spotter activation is not anticipated today and tonight.
