This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms will be possible this
afternoon and evening. The Storm Prediction Center has a Marginal
Risk (Level 1 of 5) of severe weather for much of eastern Iowa,
northwest Illinois, and northeast Missouri. Isolated strong gusty
winds and lightning are the main threats. Locally heavy rainfall
and ponding water also are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

Thursday through Saturday, Hot and humid conditions can be
expected with heat indices at least in the mid 90s.

Saturday afternoon and Saturday night, a cold front will bring
numerous thunderstorms to the area. However, the threat of severe
weather and rainfall amounts is still uncertain at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

There is a low chance that spotter activation will be needed this
afternoon and evening.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:  Northeast at 20 to 30 MPH.
