This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon
and evening. Although severe weather is not anticipated, the
stronger storms may be able to produce frequent lightning and
gusty winds. There will also be a risk of locally heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

Friday, hot and humid with heat indices in the lower to mid 90s
across much of the outlook area. Isolated thunderstorms will be
possible Friday afternoon and evening especially north of the
Highway 30 corridor.

Saturday, hot and humid with heat indices of 95 to 100. Severe
thunderstorms are also possible Saturday afternoon and evening.
The main threats are damaging winds, large hail, and heavy
rainfall.

Spotter activation is not anticipated this afternoon and tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: To the northeast at 15 to 25 MPH.
