This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Isolated thunderstorms will move through early this morning, but
severe weather is not expected.

Higher thunderstorm chances return this evening through tonight.
There is a risk of severe thunderstorms during this time, with
damaging winds the primary threat.

It will be warm and humid today, with heat index values
approaching 100 degrees in some area this afternoon and evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Additional thunderstorm chances are forecast Tuesday afternoon and
evening. There will again be a risk of severe thunderstorms during
this time, with all modes of severe weather possible.

Tuesday will be warm and humid once again, with heat index values
approaching or exceeding 100 degrees in southern Iowa during the
afternoon and evening.

Thunderstorm chances return to the forecast at times from Thursday
through Saturday. Any severe weather threats during this time will
be better assessed in the coming days.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed this evening into tonight and on
Tuesday.
