  High Swim Risk at Lake Michigan Beaches late tonight.

DISCUSSION...

There is a chance of thunderstorms through early this evening,
mainly south of US-24. An isolated stronger storm or two could
result in locally strong winds.

Large waves and strong currents will result in dangerous swim
conditions at Lake Michigan beaches after midnight tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday...
  High Swim Risk at Lake Michigan Beaches.
Tuesday through Friday...
  Limited Thunderstorm Risk at times.

DISCUSSION...

Dangerous swimming conditions will continue at Lake Michigan
beaches through late Sunday night.

TONIGHT THROUGH LATE SUNDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...High wave action and dangerous currents expected at
  Lake Michigan beaches. Waves 4 to 8 ft expected.

* WHERE...In Illinois, Lake, Northern Cook and Central Cook
  Counties. In Indiana, Lake and Porter Counties.

* WHEN...From midnight CDT tonight through late Sunday night.

* IMPACTS...Swimming conditions will be life threatening,
  especially for inexperienced swimmers. For information on swim
  advisories or bans at Chicago beaches: www. cpdbeaches. com.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain out of the water to avoid dangerous swimming conditions
and do not venture out onto piers, jetties, breakwalls, or other
