Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

An isolated thunderstorm cannot be ruled out this afternoon,
mainly south of I-80. Severe weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

  Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
     Level 1 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible Wednesday
afternoon. Some may produce strong downburst wind gusts and
locally heavy rainfall.

Heat indices will largely be in the mid and upper 90s through the
week, but may locally exceed 100 degrees at times along with
intermittent thunderstorm chances.
