This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated Thunderstorm Risk south of I-80...with an associated:
     Level 3 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 75 mph.
     Level 3 of 5 Damaging Hail Risk...up to 2 inches in diameter.
     Level 2 of 5 Flash Flooding Risk...mainly south of Interstate 80.
     Level 1 of 5 Tornado Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and evening
mainly along and south of Interstate 80. Some will be severe with
destructive hail and winds. In addition, repeated downpours may
lead to flash flooding after sunset, mainly south of Interstate
80.
