This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east
central Illinois and west central Illinois, mainly north a Rushville
to Lincoln to Danville line.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A few thunderstorms are possible toward sunrise. While the better
chances of severe weather are expected further north, these storms
may be locally severe.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

The heat index is expected to reach around 100 degrees on Tuesday.

Areas of thunderstorms will move across central Illinois Tuesday
into Tuesday night. Some of these are expected to be severe.
Damaging winds are the main concern, along with some large hail.
Locally heavy rain will also be capable of some brief flooding. Some
of the storms will linger into Wednesday morning east of I-55, though
these should not be severe.

Additional storms are expected Friday into Saturday. Severe weather
is currently not expected during this period.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed toward sunrise, most likely north of
I-74.
