Scattered thunderstorms are possible today, with chances diminishing through the afternoon. Severe weather is not expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Scattered thunderstorms are expected from Friday through Saturday. Some of the storms Friday afternoon and evening may be strong to severe, especially west of the Illinois River.
