Scattered thunderstorms are expected late tonight across eastern and southeastern Illinois. However, severe weather is not expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Scattered thunderstorms are expected to continue into Saturday morning, with a 40-50% chance for additional storm development Saturday afternoon. The strongest storms will pose a risk for localized damaging wind gusts and hail. There is a level 1 of 5, marginal, risk for severe weather. Additional thunderstorms are forecast Tuesday night through Thursday, though the severe weather threat is uncertain at this time.
