This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of eastern and
central Missouri as well as west central and southwest Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

There is a chance of thunderstorms across portions of the area
this evening into the overnight hours. Some of the thunderstorms may
be severe, mainly over northeast Missouri and west-central Illinois.
The main threats will be large hail up to golf ball size and damaging
winds up to 70 mph. There there is a low threat for tornadoes too.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

There is a slight chance for thunderstorms over portions of southeast
Missouri Friday afternoon. Also, there is a chance for thunderstorms
over parts of the area Tuesday through Wednesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to report instances of hail, wind damage, and
tornadoes to NWS St. Louis.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Louisiana.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, The first quarter mile of Edison Avenue
  beyond the railroad tracks begins flooding near this height.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:00 AM CDT Thursday was 15.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood
    stage at 15.5 feet.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
