High waves and rip currents will lead to a high swim risk for Lake
Michigan beaches in Porter County, Indiana.

AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...High wave action and dangerous currents expected at Lake
  Michigan beaches expected. Waves 3 to 5 ft expected.

* WHERE...Porter County.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Swimming conditions will be life threatening,
  especially for inexperienced swimmers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain out of the water to avoid dangerous swimming conditions
and do not venture out onto piers, jetties, breakwalls, or other
shoreline structures.
