This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible this morning across the area.
Another round of scattered thunderstorms is possible this evening
and into the overnight hours. A few of these storms this evening
may be strong to severe with wind gusts to 60 mph and hail to the
size of half dollars.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Thunderstorms are possible across the area Friday evening and into
the overnight hours. Strong to severe storms are possible Friday
evening with wind gusts to 60 mph and hail to the size of ping
pong balls.

There are additional periodic thunderstorm chances across at
least parts of the outlook area Saturday night through Wednesday,
although at least the daytime hours this weekend look to be dry.

Warmer temperatures return next week. Heat index values of 100 to
105 degrees are possible for portions of the area on Monday.
