Minor flooding continues in low-lying areas of Polk, Merrick, and York counties. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. A Heat Advisory is in effect for Monday afternoon and evening with expected heat index values up to 108 degrees. Heat index values around 105 degrees are possible again on Tuesday in areas south of Highway 6. There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms across portions of the area Monday and Tuesday, although most locations will likely remain dry.
