Severe thunderstorms with gusts near 60 MPH are possible this afternoon, generally east of a line from Burlington, Colorado to Parks, Nebraska. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY... Heat indices of 100 to 105 degrees are expected Monday afternoon, and possible Tuesday afternoon, mainly east of the Colorado border. A heat advisory has been issued for the northeastern half of the area for Monday afternoon. Extreme southwestern Nebraska may experience severe thunderstorms Monday afternoon.
