This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Early evening into Tonight

Heat indices between 100 and 105 will continue into the early
evening across portions of southern Kansas.

Thunderstorms are possible very late tonight especially across
north central Kansas with 50 to 55 mph winds and nickel sized hail
being the main hazards for the stronger storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Storms chances persist on Thursday and Thursday night especially
across north central Kansas. Some strong to marginally severe
storms will be possible along with heavy rain which could lead to
localized flooding.

Look for storm chances to return for Friday evening through
Saturday night with strong to severe storms and heavy rain
possible. Additional chances for storms exist each evening and
overnight period primarily in north central Kansas from Sunday night
through Tuesday night. A few strong storms cannot be ruled out.

Heat indices are calculated to be in the 105 to 110 degree range
for much of the area on Friday afternoon into the early evening.
Southern Kansas could have heat indices of 100 to 105 on Saturday
with greater coverage into north central and southeast Kansas for
Monday and Tuesday.
