This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Severe storms will continue to move south this evening across
portions of central Kansas. The strongest storms will be capable of
large hail up to golfball size, damaging winds up to 80 mph, and
heavy rainfall. The strongest storms are expected to remain
northwest of the Kansas Turnpike.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Thunderstorms are forecast for Friday night through Saturday night.
A few strong to severe storms and locally heavy rainfall are
possible.

...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT ELK...COWLEY...SOUTHEASTERN
SEDGWICK...SOUTHERN BUTLER...SUMNER...CHAUTAUQUA AND SOUTHERN
GREENWOOD COUNTIES THROUGH 1045 PM CDT...

At 955 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles east of Latham to
near Mulvane to near Clearwater. Movement was south at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Wichita, Derby, Arkansas City, Winfield, Andover, Haysville, Augusta,
Wellington, Park City, Bel Aire, Mulvane, Goddard, Rose Hill, Maize,
Clearwater, Douglass, Belle Plaine, Colwich, Conway Springs, and
Sedan.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 0 and 13.
 Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 1 and 67.
