Refer to the Heat Advisory for details and safety information. There is a chance for isolated to widely scattered strong to marginally severe storms this afternoon through overnight tonight. Primary concerns will be 50 to 60 mph wind gusts, up to nickel sized hail, and brief heavy rainfall with any storm that manages to develop. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Lingering storms are possible across southeast Kansas early Wednesday morning. Periodic chances for thunderstorms are in the forecast late Wednesday night through Sunday night. Check later forecasts and outlooks on the potential for severe weather late in the week.
