Triple digit heat indices are expected Thursday across much of central, southern, and eastern Kansas. A heat advisory is in effect for much of central and south central Kansas. A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Thursday late afternoon and evening over portions of central and south central Kansas. The strongest activity will be capable of producing hail up to ping-pong ball size and damaging winds up to 70 mph. Thunderstorms are forecast for Friday night through Saturday night, and again Tuesday night. A few strong to severe storms and locally heavy rainfall are possible. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
