This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Heat indices will climb to around 100 degrees this afternoon for the
Oklahoma border counties of south central and southeast Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

A more intense heat will affect the area on Monday and Tuesday. Heat
indices around 105 degrees are expected on Monday afternoon and
early evening and from 105 to 109 degrees on Tuesday afternoon.

information.

There is a chance for strong to marginally severe thunderstorms on
Tuesday afternoon through early Tuesday night. Periodic chances
for thunderstorms are in the forecast Thursday through Saturday.
Check later forecasts and outlooks on the potential for severe
weather late in the week.
