This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Indiana
and central Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon
into the evening. The main threats will be brief heavy rainfall,
lightning, and gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Hot temperatures will persist for most of the upcoming week, with
peak heat indices near 100 degrees possible each day.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Storms will move to the north around 15 mph.

Any users of this storm motion must be aware that thunderstorm activity
can be erratic and constantly evolving.  Please use this with caution
and be prepared for changing conditions.

MIDNIGHT EDT THURSDAY NIGHT...

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District and the Indiana
Department of Environmental Management have issued an Air Quality
Alert...IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT WEDNESDAY NIGHT TO MIDNIGHT EDT
THURSDAY NIGHT.

A Code Orange Air Quality Alert for Ozone has been issued for the
Louisville Metro Area.

Members of sensitive groups may experience health effects. The
general public is not likely to be affected. Sensitive groups include
the elderly...children...persons with asthma or other breathing
problems...and persons with lung and heart disease. People in these
groups are advised to limit their outdoor activities to reduce their
exposure to ozone and particulate pollution.
