The combination of humidity and hot temperatures will result in heat indices peaking near 100 degrees at some locations this afternoon. There is a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and early evening a few of which could become strong with gusty winds as the main threat. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms across far southeastern Kentucky on Saturday afternoon and early evening. Thunderstorms are also possible across all of eastern Kentucky Sunday through Monday.
