...Areas of Fog Developing Early this Morning Becoming Locally
Dense in the Valleys...

Clear skies, light winds, and lingering low-level moisture are
helping areas of valley fog to develop and become dense early this
morning. This fog will continue to expand but likely be thickest
in the valleys. Visibilities will be below a quarter of a mile at
times in the worst of the fog. Be sure to slow down and use your
low beam headlights when you encounter any fog.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Areas of fog, locally dense in the valleys south of the Mountain
Parkway, will start to clear out by 9 am.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Thunderstorms are possible Friday and again Sunday, mainly during
the afternoon and early evening hours.

Heat index values are expected to peak near the 100 degree mark on
Sunday afternoon.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
