This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are expected this
afternoon through the early evening as tropical moisture continues
to increase across the region. The strongest storms may contain
gusty winds and brief heavy rainfall, but organized severe weather
is not anticipated.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Rain chances will be confined to mainly east Texas on Wednesday as
high pressure builds in, displacing the tropical moisture to the
west. By Thursday, upper ridging will build over the region as
potentially hazardous temperatures return heading into the weekend.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
