Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and early evening as tropical moisture increases across the local area. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. More widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected areawide through Wednesday. The greatest coverage of showers and thunderstorms will generally be from the early afternoon through the evening each day. Locally gusty winds and brief heavy rainfall will be possible in the stronger storms, but organized severe weather is not anticipated. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Parishes.
For the Bodcau Bayou...including Bayou Bodcau Lake...Minor flooding
is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
