Additionally, scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening. Some storms could be strong to severe with the primary hazards being damaging wind gusts and locally heavy rainfall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Additional heat advisories may also be needed Sunday with heat index values expected to reach or exceed 95 degrees in some lower elevation areas of the Hudson Valley. Finally, there is a chance for thunderstorms each day from Friday through Monday, mainly during the afternoon and evening. Some storms Sunday could be strong to severe. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
