This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of eastern West
Virginia, northern and central Virginia, and central and western
Maryland.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A few thunderstorms are possible this afternoon into early this
evening, and may produce a few instances of flooding or damaging
wind gusts. The threat is highest west of the Blue Ridge Mountains
and south of Highway 50.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A prolonged period of hot temperatures is expected this week,
with increasing humidity through the week. The combination of heat
and humidity could result in heat indices above 100 degrees
Tuesday afternoon through at least Sunday afternoon.
