This hazardous weather outlook is for Eastern Upper Michigan and
Northern Lower Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Heavy rainfall is expected across parts of northern Michigan
today and tonight. Some areas of the lower peninsula may see over
2 inches of rain by Sunday morning. Please see the latest flood
watch for additional details. A few storms over southern northern
lower could be capable of producing damaging wind gusts and a few
tornadoes this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Rain and storm chances will continue through next week with
possibly more heavy rain Tuesday.

Isolated severe storms will be possible Saturday into Saturday
night. Damaging winds and a tornado or two will be the primary
hazards with any strong storms.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of Northern Lower Michigan, including the
  following counties, Alcona, Alpena, Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix,
  Cheboygan, Crawford, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau,
  Montmorency, Oscoda, Otsego and Presque Isle.

* WHEN...Through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
  in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are
  running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Repeated round of heavy rainfall are expected today and
    tonight. Widespread 2 to 4 inch rain amounts are likely with
    isolated higher amounts possible.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
