Heavy rainfall is expected across parts of northern Michigan today and tonight. Some areas of the lower peninsula may see over 2 inches of rain by Sunday morning. Please see the latest flood watch for additional details. A few storms over southern northern lower could be capable of producing damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes this afternoon. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Rain and storm chances will continue through next week with possibly more heavy rain Tuesday. Isolated severe storms will be possible Saturday into Saturday night. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Repeated round of heavy rainfall are expected today and tonight.
