This hazardous weather outlook is for southeast Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Heat advisories are in effect today. Refer to the latest Urgent
Weather Message (NPW) for additional details.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible today, mainly this afternoon
and evening. The strongest storms will be capable of producing wind
gusts up to 60 mph. Storms will move toward the northeast at around 30
mph. Any storm will be capable of producing torrential rainfall. Some
localized flooding is possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Heat advisories continue for part of the forecast area Thursday.

details.

Daily opportunities exist for periods of thunderstorms through Sunday.
Confidence on timing, coverage, and intensity remain very low.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Cooler air from Lake Huron is expected to
  push inland on Thursday.
