Hazardous Weather Outlook National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI 438 AM EDT Tue Jun 25 2024 MIZ047>049-053>055-060>063-068>070-075-076-082-083-260845- Midland-Bay-Huron-Saginaw-Tuscola-Sanilac-Shiawassee-Genesee-Lapeer- St. Clair-Livingston-Oakland-Macomb-Washtenaw-Wayne-Lenawee-Monroe- 438 AM EDT Tue Jun 25 2024 This hazardous weather outlook is for southeast Michigan. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight A thunderstorm complex moves through central and southern Lower Michigan this morning. There is a Marginal Risk of severe intensity storms during this time. The strongest storms in the system will be capable of locally damaging wind gusts near 60 mph as well as flooding rainfall. Individual storm cells move west to east while the linear system moves toward the southeast at 45 mph. After a break in the afternoon, thunderstorms become possible again tonight into Wednesday morning. There is also a Marginal Risk of severe intensity storms during this time if thunderstorms are able to reach back north of the Ohio border. The greatest risk will be along and south of I94. Damaging wind near 60 mph is the primary hazard but large hail around 1 inch and flooding rainfall are also possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday A chance of thunderstorms lingers into Wednesday morning as the parent cold front moves through Lower Michigan.
