This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorms are possible early this morning and then again this
afternoon and early evening. Severe weather is not expected but
localized flooding is possible early this morning near to south of
a line from Kalamazoo to Lansing. It will be hot and humid this
afternoon and early evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Prolonged impacts of heat and humidity this week will increase
potential for heat related illnesses.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EDT TODAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Michigan, including the
  following counties, Calhoun and Jackson.

* WHEN...Until noon EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 510 AM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated
    heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Both radar estimates and local automated rain gauges indicate
    that 2 to 4 inches of rain has fallen from Sunday evening
    into the early morning hours morning hours of Monday.
    Additional rainfall can be expected through daybreak.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Jackson, Albion, Marshall, Battle Creek, Homer, Burlington,
    Vandercook Lake, Brownlee Park, Leoni, Spring Arbor,
    Sandstone, Marengo, Pulaski, Concord, Athens, Horton,
    Springport, Parma, Tekonsha and Duck Lake.

  high humidity this week will increase potential for heat related
  illnesses.
