This hazardous weather outlook is for southeast Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated to scattered strong to severe thunderstorms will be
possible late today and this evening ahead of a cold front. Storm
mode will be linear segments as storms track W to E at 40 mph.
Damaging wind gusts (in excess of 60 mph) will be the primary threat
with large hail and an isolated tornado as secondary threats. The
main window for severe weather is expected between 4pm and 10pm.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Dangerous and prolonged heat wave expected next week, as highs reach
into the mid 90s Monday through at least Wednesday, pushing heat
indices near 100 degrees during the afternoon hours. Modest night-
time relief as low temperatures hold in the low to mid 70s across
most locations.

...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAINFALL WILL IMPACT LENAWEE
COUNTIES AND MONROE THROUGH 830 PM EDT...

At 728 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a
line extending from near Britton to near Hillsdale. Movement was
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD... Heavy rainfall, winds around 40 mph, and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT... Localized minor flooding. Gusty winds could damage to
         outdoor objects.

Locations impacted include...
Adrian, Monroe, Flat Rock, Tecumseh, Milan, Dundee, Blissfield,
Carleton, Hudson, Morenci, Temperance, Ida, Luna Pier, Petersburg,
Onsted, Deerfield, Addison, Britton, Maybee, and Cement City.

This includes the following highways...
 I-75 between mile markers 1 and 26.
 I-275 between mile markers 1 and 7.
 US-23 between mile markers 1 and 25.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
