Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to develop near the between 4 to 6 pm EDT today and move southeast. Damaging wind gusts 60 to 70 mph are the greatest threat, although hail 1 to 2 inches in diameter, an isolated tornado or two, and localized heavy rain and flooding are also possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
