This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Some flooding continues across portions of northern Minnesota.
Water levels have begun to recede, though lake levels may remain
high.

Thunderstorms will be possible today with localized heavy
rainfall. A few isolated severe storms are possible this afternoon
and evening with hail up to the size of quarters and wind gusts
to 60 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Additional thunderstorms are possible both Monday and Tuesday.
Some strong to severe storms and heavy rain may be possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn spotters may be needed this afternoon and evening.

Minnesota...

  Vermilion River near Crane Lake affecting far northern St. Louis
  County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHERE...Vermilion River near Crane Lake.

* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flooding of Gold Mine Road and public
  river access.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Forecast...River levels are expected to continue to fall.
    Flooding should recede through late week.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
