This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Some flooding continues across portions of northern Minnesota.
Water levels have begun to recede, though lake levels may remain
high.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Heavy rain and thunderstorms are possible Friday, and localized
flash flooding and an isolated severe storm are possible.

Additional thunderstorms both Monday and Tuesday. Some strong to
severe storms and heavy rain could be possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn spotter activation will not be needed this afternoon or
tonight.

Minnesota...

  Vermilion River near Crane Lake affecting far northern St. Louis
  County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flooding of Gold Mine Road and public
  river access.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 13.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Forecast...River levels are expected to continue to fall.
    Flooding should recede through late week.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    13.4 feet on 04/26/1996.
