Flash flooding is possible, and a Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the areas under the greatest risk of flooding. Isolated to scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this evening through tonight. Large hail to 1" in diameter and strong winds to 60 mph are the main threats. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Additional moderate to heavy rain that could lead to flash flooding is possible Tuesday through early Wednesday morning. A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for the areas under the greatest risk of flooding. Isolated to scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible late Tuesday morning through Tuesday evening. This includes the Tribal Lands of the St. Croix Band in Burnett County, the Bois Forte Band, Lake Vermilion area, the Fond du Lac Band and the Mille Lacs Band, East Lake, Hinckley, Lena Lake and, Big Sandy Lake areas. * WHEN...From 1 PM CDT this afternoon through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms are expected to bring heavy rain Monday through Tuesday, with localized areas receiving over 3 inches of rain. This will fall on top of already saturated soils and rivers with normal to above normal streamflow.
