Whilst smaller stream water levels have started to recede, larger rivers are still seeing water levels increase and will continue into tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday With water levels still elevated, flooding remains a concern across northeast Minnesota. Further rain and storms beginning on Friday and continuing into Saturday may cause more hydrological issues across the area heading into the weekend. Numerous roads remain closed across northern and western St. Louis County due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 854 AM CDT Thursday, gauge reports indicated flooding is ongoing, especially within the city of Cook and around the greater area, due to heavy rainfall that occurred Tuesday evening. - Additional rainfall is possible in the warned area Friday afternoon through Saturday evening, which may aggravate the ongoing flooding problems. There is a 50 percent chance of one half inch of rainfall and a 30 percent chance of one inch of rainfall in this time period. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
