This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Minnesota...east central Minnesota...south central Minnesota...
southeast Minnesota...southwest Minnesota and west central
Minnesota.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Most rivers across southern Minnesota are currently flooding due
to recent heavy rainfall. Do not drive through flooded roadways.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Heat index values near 100 degrees will be possible over west
central Minnesota Monday afternoon.

There is a Slight Risk (2/5) for severe weather Monday evening.
In addition to severe weather, brief heavy downpours are expected
as well, but storms are expected to be moving fast enough to
limit the flash flooding threat.

Another period of active weather is expected Thursday afternoon
through Friday night. Severe weather and localized flash flooding
will be possible once again.

River levels will continue rising through late next week with
some locations reaching moderate or major flood stage. Additional
rain could worsen the flooding.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Cottonwood River at New Ulm affecting Brown County.

  Cottonwood River Above Springfield affecting Brown County.

  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Lac qui Parle
  and Yellow Medicine Counties.

  Mississippi River at St. Paul affecting Ramsey, Dakota and
  Washington Counties.

  Cannon River at Northfield affecting Dakota and Rice Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Minnesota
and Wisconsin...

  South Fork Crow River at Delano affecting Hennepin and Wright
  Counties.

  Minnesota River at Mankato affecting Nicollet and Blue Earth
  Counties.

  Minnesota River at New Ulm affecting Nicollet, Blue Earth and
  Brown Counties.

  Minnesota River at Savage affecting Dakota, Carver, Hennepin and
  Scott Counties.

  Minnesota River at Henderson MN19 affecting Le Sueur, Scott and
  Sibley Counties.

  Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Scott, Carver and Sibley
  Counties.

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties.

  South Fork Crow River below Mayer affecting Carver County.

  Crow River at Rockford affecting Hennepin and Wright Counties.

  Mississippi River near Hastings L/D 2 (COE) affecting Dakota,
  Pierce and Washington Counties.

  Middle Fork Zumbro River at Pine Island 1S affecting Dodge and
  Goodhue Counties.

  Redwood River near Redwood Falls affecting Redwood County.

.No significant rainfall is expected over the next 24 hours. There
are a few systems that will bring additional rainfall chances that
are not captured in the current river forecasts.

The greatest chance for rain is with a system Thursday night into
Friday. The forecast rainfall amounts with this system will be
captured in the river forecasts that are issued Wednesday night and
Thursday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Montevideo.

* WHEN...From this evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Low lying areas and some roads along the
  river begin flooding, along with some basements of houses along
  the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 900 AM CDT Sunday, the stage was 13.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this evening and continue rising and crest near 14.5 feet
    early Wednesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    14.6 feet on 07/26/1962.
