...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...
Minnesota River at Savage affecting Carver, Hennepin, Scott and
Dakota Counties.
Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Carver, Sibley and Scott
Counties.
Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Yellow Medicine, Lac qui
Parle and Chippewa Counties.
South Fork Crow River below Mayer affecting Carver County.
Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties.
.Another round of light rain will move in overnight into Tuesday
morning, but this should not impact the river flooding. Looking
ahead, several more chances for widespread thunderstorms are
possible into next week, which could impact flooding.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Minnesota River at Savage.
* WHEN...Until late Saturday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 705.0 feet, Flood waters begin to impact the park
road at Fort Snelling State Park.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 900 PM CDT Monday, the stage was 704.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 900 PM CDT Monday was 704.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Saturday morning and continue falling to 700.4 feet Monday,
June 17.
- Flood stage is 702.0 feet.
