This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph are possible with thunderstorms across
western Minnesota early this morning.

A slight chance of strong to severe thunderstorms exists across
southern Minnesota this afternoon.

River levels will continue rising along the Minnesota and
Mississippi Rivers into the weekend with moderate or major flood
stage observed during the crest. Additional rain has started to
fall will continue to fall overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Another round of heavy rain and strong storms is expected Monday,
which could locally exacerbate ongoing flooding next week.

Minnesota and Wisconsin...

  Cottonwood River at New Ulm affecting Brown County.

  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Lac qui Parle, Yellow
  Medicine and Chippewa Counties.

  Minnesota River at Mankato affecting Blue Earth and Nicollet
  Counties.

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.

  South Fork Crow River at Delano affecting Hennepin and Wright
  Counties.

  South Fork Crow River below Mayer affecting Carver County.

  Crow River at Rockford affecting Hennepin and Wright Counties.

  St Croix River at Stillwater affecting Pierce, St. Croix and
  Washington Counties.

  Redwood River near Redwood Falls affecting Redwood County.

  Cannon River at Northfield affecting Dakota and Rice Counties.

  Counties.

  Mississippi River at Red Wing L/D 3 affecting Goodhue and Pierce

.Rivers have either reached crest or will reach crest this weekend.
River levels are expected to gradually fall throughout the next
several days. Additional 1 to 2 inches in the forecast next week may
extend river level recession times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at St. Paul.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1210 PM CDT Friday, the stage was 19.9 feet.
  - The river is continuing to rise.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.8
    feet early tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    20.2 feet on 03/31/2019.
