Wind gusts up to 40 mph are possible with thunderstorms across western Minnesota early this morning. A slight chance of strong to severe thunderstorms exists across southern Minnesota this afternoon. River levels will continue rising along the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers into the weekend with moderate or major flood stage observed during the crest. Additional rain has started to fall will continue to fall overnight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Another round of heavy rain and strong storms is expected Monday, which could locally exacerbate ongoing flooding next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
