Slight Risk (2/5) for severe weather Monday, as the next storm system to watch may produce strong to severe thunderstorms Monday night into Tuesday. The axis of the heaviest rainfall over the past 72 hours fell across SW Minnesota and N Iowa. This has resulted in a slight lower trend with upcoming crests. Moderate to major flooding is still forecast for many mainstem forecast points. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
