This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Locally heavy rainfall and isolated strong thunderstorms are
possible tonight.

River flooding along the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers
continues with moderate or major flood stage observed during the
crests. Recent rainfall will have minimal impact on the river
crests, but may prolong the length of flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Locally heavy rain and isolated strong to severe storms are
possible Tuesday, primarily across southern Minnesota.

Thunderstorms are expected on Independence Day with locally heavy
rainfall possible.

.The weather pattern remains active this week. The first round of
precipitation arrives Monday night into Tuesday. This impact will
certainly slow river level decline. The second round arrives on
Thursday and will be the main focus with the potential for a
widespread half inch to and inch of rain likely. While no additional
rises are forecast with the first round, the second round may lead
to some brief rises and further restart the clock for the recession.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Morton.

* WHEN...Until Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Riverside Rd and Front Street flooded in
  North Redwood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1100 AM CDT Monday, the stage was 22.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 1100 AM CDT Monday was 22.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Friday afternoon and continue falling to 20.1 feet
    Monday, July 08.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    22.8 feet on 09/22/2018.
