...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Cottonwood River at New Ulm affecting Brown County.

  Cottonwood River Above Springfield affecting Brown County.

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties.

  Minnesota River at New Ulm affecting Brown, Blue Earth and
  Nicollet Counties.

  Minnesota River at Henderson MN19 affecting Sibley, Le Sueur and
  Scott Counties.

  Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Carver, Sibley and Scott
  Counties.

  South Fork Crow River at Delano affecting Hennepin and Wright
  Counties.

  South Fork Crow River below Mayer affecting Carver County.

  Crow River at Rockford affecting Hennepin and Wright Counties.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Savage affecting Hennepin, Carver, Dakota and
  Scott Counties.

  Minnesota River at Mankato affecting Blue Earth and Nicollet
  Counties.

.Recent heavy rainfall combined with the forecast of additional rain
and high soil moisture will produce additional rises on area rivers.
Another round of widespread heavy rain becoming likely Thursday night
through Saturday. An additional 2 to 4 inches of rainfall is
forecasted to fall during this time.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

  - At 1100 AM CDT Wednesday, the stage was 701.6 feet.
  - The river is continuing to rise.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening and continue rising to 708.5 feet
    Wednesday, June 26. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 702.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    708.4 feet on 06/29/1957.

  Pierce and Dakota Counties.

  Mississippi River at St. Paul affecting Washington, Ramsey and
  Dakota Counties.

.Recent heavy rainfall combined with the forecast of additional rain
and high soil moisture will produce additional rises on area rivers.
Another round of widespread heavy rain becoming likely Thursday night

    June 26. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    17.1 feet on 05/04/1975.

  - The river is steady but will begin to rise tonight.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late Sunday morning and continue rising to 16.9 feet
    Wednesday, June 26. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    16.8 feet on 06/02/1908.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Recent heavy rain will continue to result in water level rises
along local rivers, with flooding continuing along the Crow and
Minnesota Rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Additional rounds of thunderstorms are expected Thursday through
Saturday. A few severe storms, heavy rainfall, and flash flooding
are possible with each of these rounds.

River levels will continue rising through late week with some
locations reaching moderate or major flood stage. Additional rain
later in the week could worsen the flooding.
