This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

River levels will continue rising along the Minnesota and
Mississippi Rivers through late week with moderate or major flood
stage observed during the crest. Additional rain has started to
fall will continue to fall overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Another period of active weather is expected Friday. Strong to
severe storms and localized flash flooding will be possible once
again Friday afternoon.

The next chance for heavy rain and strong storms will be Monday
into Tuesday.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at New Ulm.

* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 745 PM CDT Thursday, the stage was 802.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 745 PM CDT Thursday was 802.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 802.2
    feet early Saturday afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage late Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 800.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    802.4 feet on 05/18/2022.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Mankato.

* WHEN...Until late Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 26.6 feet, Flood waters begin to impact Highway 169
  in North Mankato.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 830 PM CDT Thursday, the stage was 27.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 830 PM CDT Thursday was 27.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 27.3
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage Sunday evening.
  - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    27.1 feet on 04/12/1969.
