This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

River flooding along the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers
continues with moderate or major flood stage observed during the
crests. Recent rainfall will have minimal impact on the river
crests, but may prolong the length of flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Another round of heavy rain and strong storms is expected Monday
into Tuesday, which could locally exacerbate ongoing flooding
next week.

.While the short term forecast is optimistic due to a lack of
precipitation over the next 36-48 hours, widespread additional
rainfall is expected to cause yet another surge in river levels by
the end of next week. First major round of rainfall arrives Monday
into Tuesday and will start being captured in forecasts tomorrow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Red Wing Milling Company may experience
  basement flooding and begin pumping.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 915 PM CDT Saturday, the stage was 15.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 915 PM CDT Saturday was 15.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.9
    feet early Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood
    stage late Friday evening.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    15.8 feet on 04/01/2019.

  in Pepin area begin to flood. West Lake Road and Deer Island Road
  are partially under water, limiting access to homes and properties.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 17.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:15 PM CDT Saturday was 17.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.4
    feet tomorrow evening. It is then expected to eventually fall
    below flood stage by Sunday, July 7.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
