This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Chance for rain and thunderstorms overnight, but the heaviest rain
should hold off until Friday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A few severe storms, heavy rainfall, and flash flooding are
possible with multiple rounds of thunderstorms Friday into
Saturday.

River levels will continue rising through late week with some
locations reaching moderate or major flood stage. Additional rain
could worsen the flooding.

SKYWARN spotter activation is unlikely, but rainfall reports are
appreciated.

.Two rounds of heavy rainfall are expected through early Saturday
across portions of southern and central Minnesota and western
Wisconsin. The first will come late tonight. The second will come
late Friday and Friday night. Rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches are
expected by Saturday afternoon with locally higher amounts of 5+
inches possible. Rainfall rates may exceed 1"/hour at times.

...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM CDT FRIDAY THROUGH SATURDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Minnesota, including the following areas,
  Anoka, Blue Earth, Carver, Dakota, Faribault, Freeborn, Goodhue,
  Hennepin, Le Sueur, McLeod, Nicollet, Ramsey, Rice, Scott, Sibley,
  Steele, Waseca, Washington and Wright and west central Wisconsin,
  including the following areas, Dunn, Pepin, Pierce and St. Croix.

* WHEN...From 4 AM CDT Friday through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Saturated soils combined with another couple rounds of very
    heavy rain could result in flash flooding.
