This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southeast
Minnesota...northeast Iowa and southwest into central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorms are likely this evening and tonight, with heavy
rainfall being the main threat. Localized damaging winds will
also be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Periodic rounds of storms with heavy rainfall are forecast through
Saturday night. Each round of rain will increase the flash flood
and river flooding risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated, but any wind, hail, or
rainfall reports would be appreciated.

...The National Weather Service in La Crosse WI has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Minnesota...Wisconsin...

  Mississippi River at Wabasha affecting Wabasha and Buffalo
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY EVENING UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...
...REPLACES RIVER FLOOD WATCH...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Wabasha.

* WHEN...From Thursday evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, The railroad underpass on Highway 60 may
  be flooded. Flooding is also possible along Lawrence Boulevard and
  Main Street East. Some businesses near the river may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 11.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    Thursday evening and continue rising to 13.0 feet Tuesday,
    June 25. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    13.0 feet on 09/29/2010.
