Minnesota...northeast Iowa and southwest into central Wisconsin.

Scattered storms are expected for today. The main threats with
these storms are lightning and gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Periodic storms are expected from Saturday into Wednesday. At this
time, it is too early to discern whether any of these storms will
become severe.

Minnesota...Wisconsin...

  Mississippi River at Wabasha affecting Wabasha and Buffalo
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Wabasha.

* WHEN...Until early Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, The river affects low lying areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 12.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 PM CDT Wednesday was 12.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow evening and continue falling to 10.8 feet Wednesday,
    June 19.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
